I would like to ask you if you have any suggestion to help me solve the problem with restrictions for delivery opening/changing. Our sales people are creating sales orders and deliveries. We are using items type TAN and delivery LF. Request from shipping points is that once they are preparing goods for customer, delivery couldn't be changed by sales people to avoid possible problems (info that they are preparing the goods is in field "Delivery block".
Right now, in deliveries, we are using header field "Delivery block" and Z authorization object. So people without proper authorization are not able to open delivery in change when the special status is set.
Problem is, that in one SAP is several companies with different requests and settings. And these settings are causing a problems now. So I would like to find another solution.
First on my mind was picking. But there is a problem. Item TAN is used with all companies and some of them do not want to use picking.
Next idea (we are using shipment) was to use status of shipment. If delivery is in shipment and shipment has some status, delivery will not be possible to open. But again, there are some exceptions - not all deliveries are relevant for shipment.
Is there any solution (better standard) how to prevent opening/changing delivery when store keepers start preparing goods?
I went through a lot of forums but without success.
